Shipping & Mailing Bags
Shipping and mailing bags carry your products through sorting centers, delivery vans and rain to your customer’s door. Hanpak Vietnam makes them for online stores, fulfillment centers, courier companies, newspapers and packaging distributors.
- Poly mailers – co-extruded, opaque mailers with a white or colored outside and a grey or black inside, closed with a permanent tamper-evident tape. Common sizes include 10 x 13 in and 12 x 15.5 in in the US and 250 x 350 mm in the UK.
- Reusable poly mailers – a second adhesive strip and a tear strip, so your customer can send a return in the same bag.
- Newspaper bags – thin HDPE or LDPE delivery bags, around 7.5 x 21 in for most US daily papers, clear, colored or printed with ads.
Thickness and seal strength are what decide whether a mailer arrives in one piece. Most US and European online stores use 2–2.5 mil (50–60 µm); thinner bags tear on sorting belts, thicker ones cost more postage. Tell us what you ship and we will suggest a gauge.
Selling in the UK? Plastic packaging with less than 30% recycled content is taxed there, so many UK buyers ask for recycled-content mailers. We can make them; tell us the percentage you need.
Our mailer line runs about 1,000 tons a month. Our plants work to Japan’s JIS standard and ISO 9001, and every pack carries a lot number for traceability. Request a quote with your size, print and quantity.
How ordering works: send us your spec, a photo or one bag you use now. We send a free sample to approve, then production takes 4–6 weeks for a first order and 3–4 weeks for repeat orders, with photos from the line before the container is loaded.
