A large share of what Hanpak makes leaves the factory under someone else’s name. Distributors, retail chains and importers send us their artwork and packing spec, and we deliver bags that go straight onto their shelves or into their customers’ hands, printed, counted and boxed the way they sell them.

What we can brand for you
Print on the bag
Up to 8 colors by gravure printing, on one or both sides. Logos, store names, recycling marks, warning text and size or count markings.
Your film color
Clear, white, black or a color matched to your brand. Tell us the Pantone reference or send a bag to match.
Your packing
Bags per roll or per pack, rolls per box, and your own box, polybag and carton design, so the goods are ready to sell when they land.
Your carton marks
Item codes, barcode labels and shipping marks printed or labelled on every carton, the way your warehouse receives them.
Bags we print most often
- T-shirt and die cut bags for supermarkets, pharmacies and retail stores
- Poly mailers with your logo for e-commerce brands
- Wicket bread bags, produce bags and ice bags for bakeries and food brands
- Trash bags and can liners under your brand, in your own retail box
- PP non-woven bags for promotions and reusable shopping bags
How a printed order runs
- 01
Send your artwork
A vector file (AI, PDF or EPS) with the Pantone color for each ink, plus the bag size and quantity.
- 02
Approve the proof
We send a digital proof showing the print on the bag at true size and position. Nothing is made until you sign it off.
- 03
Plates and sample
We make the printing plates and run a pre-production sample for you to check color and fit.
- 04
Production and loading
4–6 weeks for a first order, 3–4 weeks for repeats, with photos from printing, cutting, packing and loading.
About printing plates
Gravure printing uses one plate for each color in your design. Plates are a one-time cost per design and size, and the cost depends on the print size and number of colors. Items that share the same artwork and width can sometimes share plates, which we will point out when we quote.
We keep your plates for up to two years. Reorder the same design within that time and there is no new plate charge, which is why the second order of a printed bag usually costs less than the first.
Artwork tips that save time
- Send vector files. Outline all fonts. A JPG or a photo of a bag works for a quote, but we need vector art for the plates.
- Give Pantone codes. Screen colors look different on film. A Pantone reference is the fastest way to an exact match.
- Think about the film color. Ink on clear or colored film looks different from ink on white. For bright colors on clear or dark film we add a white base layer.
- Keep very fine detail bold enough. Hairlines and tiny text can fill in on film. If in doubt, send the file and we will flag anything that may not print cleanly.
- Check what your market requires. Recycling symbols, suffocation warnings and resin codes differ by country. Tell us where the bags will be sold and we will make sure the space is in the design.
Send us your artwork
Send your logo or artwork, the bag type and size, and the quantity per design. We will come back with a quote and a print proof.
